Join Marissa Berard (Manitoba Important Bird Areas Program) to learn about all about birds!
The workshop will begin at the library with a meet and greet. We will then go for a birdwatching walk along the river, during which we will look for birds and share tips on how to identify them. The workshop will finish back at the library, with a short reflection activity. There will be binoculars available for use during the workshop.
Each registrant will receive a Nature Journal to record their sightings!
This event will be geared toward children and families but is open to all! Children under the age of 12 must have a caregiver present.
Registration opens September 3 @ 10am.
This event is funded by Healthy Together Now and is part of our experience nature program.
